In his farewell address, George Washington warned the nation of the deadly effects of political factions, political parties, and their alliance with foreign influences to destroy the USA Constitution and democratic republic. Having been warned of Washington’s dreads, and seeing those dreads precisely begin to take roots in America’s politics today, our prayers are that TAS PATS will have the courage and wisdom to crush those threats by fixing and reforming the party systems to eliminate/bury them.
Are they, party elites, messing with our votes and our democracy? The 2020 elections in Iowa and Nevada and elsewhere will be attempts to exclude/diminish Biden and to otherwise lead the Democrat Party to nominate the weakest candidate possible against the Corrupt Criminal Traitor. The Speaker had famously asked, “Is that too much to ask?” Of course not! But some Democrats abandoned/back stabbed her by forcing her, thru her impeachment prosecutors/managers, into allowing/participating in Trump’s/McConnell’s/Republicans’ Dirty Deal of a rigged/phony/sham/mock ruse of an impeachment trial. Note: Republicans’ Phony Criticisms/FBI Investigation of Kavanaugh Illustrate They’re a Solid Phalanx in Support of Trump and Should Suffer His Defeat Too. When the public became riled up in opposition to the Kavanaugh nomination, they , the Republicans, pulled out the same old playbook they’ve been using since Trump was in the process of winning the Republican nomination in 2016. They sought to blunt the public’s outcry by giving temporary feigned, false criticism and concern about Trump or his policies to conceal their solid phalanx of support for Trump and his policies, but their final decisions were nearly always (99% of the time) to toe the party line for Trump and his policies.
So, Senator Flake of Arizona, a frequent user of that playbook, pulled it out to call for an FBI investigation of Kavanaugh. Flake’s FBI Investigation proved to be phony, but Flake nevertheless voted for Kavanaugh. That is typical of Phony Flake; feign criticism, feign concern, and conceal true intentions to toe the party line for Trump and his policies. Senator Flake should always be considered nothing but a unbending partisan willing to deceive and falsely mislead the public.

Republicans and Their Phony Self-Serving Criticism of Donald Trump

Republicans support Trump and occasionally allow Republicans to make phony harsh criticism and opposition to him but to return to the fold in support of Trump and his policies when the latest round of public opposition and criticism of him and his policies dies down. We’ve seen that playbook cycle time and time again from Republican critics assigned from time to time to act out that playbook cycle to give Republicans cover from public criticism and opposition against Donald Trump’s and his co-conspirators’ outrages and policies.
Consider the Arizona senator. Flake was a frequent critic of Trump during the early months of his administration when the Republican and the Republican party needed a lot of cover from the incoming public criticism and opposition to the Trump administration’s outrages, lies and policies. Then he went silent. When the tax bill, which Trump supported, to raid the USA’s treasury, to give massive tax cuts to the wealthy, to create massive debt, and to lay the basis for attacks on our social security and medicaid, and the middle class and poor people came up for debate and votes, he was silent, you didn’t hear a peep from him. Now, after having supported his party’s and Trump’s immoral tax bill, Flake’s back in the news, making extreme criticisms of his previous ally, Trump, following his comments on Haiti and African countries and their immigrants. Are Flake’s criticisms of Trump phony and strategically self-serving and insincere because they are merely designed to provide temporary cover for himself, other Republicans, and the Republican party, until they can use Donald Trump for their next mutually beneficial policy? Using such a strategy, the Republicans, including Flake, who merely blows hot air for cover, will never hold Donald Trump accountable for anything he’s done or will do by supporting credible investigations, censure, or impeachment.
Consider another such senator from South Carolina, Lindsey Graham. Graham was a severe critic of Donald Trump during the 2016 elections and during the early months of the Trump administration. Then, suddenly, one day after having played golf with Trump, he made a 180 degree turn and came out with effusive and lavish praise of Trump, and proceeded in the next weeks to strongly support Trump and his policies, including: like Fake, supporting the Republican/Trump immoral tax bill;….
Trump’s/McConnell’s/Republicans’ phony criticism/deceptive wavering is playbook SOP designed to trick the public into believing they are honestly wrestling with their conscience on how to fairly/justly/honestly give America/Americans a just impeachment trial of Trump. Republicans – including Senators Murkowski, Collins, Romney – are using their playbook of phony criticism/deceptive wavering to trick Democrats into rapidly sending the House’s Trump Impeachment Articles to the Senate so that they can speedily, corruptly, in violation of their oaths, trash can them and declare Trump’s exoneration. Accordingly, Republican are playing their familiar playbook roles of phony criticism, fanning doubts about their support of Trump/McConnell impeachment trial plans, creating a pretense that they’re wavering, and luring the Democrats into trusting/hoping they’ll permit a trial with necessary documents/witnesses/procedures/fairness/thoroughness. This type of phony criticism/deceptive wavering/etc. is SOP to deceive the public. Of course they will all vote in lock step as a solid, impenetrable phalanx behind the Trump/McConnell schemes to conduct a phony/sham/unjust ruse of an impeachment trial.
Speaker Pelosi’s/Schiff’s/Nadler’s/Congress Persons’ sword of Damocles hangs over Trump’s/Republicans’ heads and their dirty schemes. They should not remove it until the Republicans have agreed to and voted on Senate rules and procedures for conducting a fair/credible/time appropriate/just impeachment trial of Trump. Trump/Republicans desperately want it removed so that they can execute their 2020 nefarious schemes to quickly/speedily hold a phony/sham/unjust ruse of as an impeachment trial, then falsely proclaim Trump did nothing wrong and we’ve exonerated him, then proceed to put him up for re-election as a victim having been exonerated of false claims.
